Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information meravish.com collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The site is kept intentionally simple, and so is the way it handles your data.

Who we are

This site belongs to Merav Shaked, an independent designer and AI builder working as a sole proprietor (an exempt business, osek patur, under Israeli tax law). The site is meravish.com. For anything in this policy, you can reach out by email at shamerav@gmail.com or on WhatsApp.

What data is collected

Three kinds of information:

• Usage and analytics data. When you visit, Google Analytics records general usage: which pages are viewed, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location. This is collected through cookies and helps understand how the site is used.
• Contact details you provide. When you reach out by email or WhatsApp, you share information directly: your name, your contact details, and whatever project details you choose to describe. This is only what you send, nothing more.
• Details submitted through a form. Some pages carry a form for leaving details or joining a waitlist. The form collects a name and an email, and sometimes details about your project. Every form carries an explicit consent box: filling it in is optional, and nothing is sent without an active confirmation.

Providing details is never a legal obligation and never a condition for using the site. Everything is shared on your own initiative, and you can ask to have it deleted at any time.

Why the data is used

• To respond to inquiries and stay in touch with you.
• To provide the service if we work together.
• To understand and improve the site.

Legal basis, notice and consent

A data collection notice appears when you arrive on the site, as required by the Israeli Privacy Protection Law. The notice informs and never blocks content, and analytics data is collected to run and improve the site. You can disable analytics cookies in your browser at any time, or install the Google Analytics opt out add on (see the cookies section below).

Details submitted through a form are collected on explicit consent: the box next to the form has to be ticked before anything is sent. Consent to marketing messages is separate, never pre ticked, and you can withdraw it at any time by replying or by email.

Third parties and processors

A few trusted services help run the site and the communication around it:

• Google Analytics for usage statistics.
• Cloudflare for hosting and content delivery.
• Formspree for delivering form submissions to the inbox.
• WhatsApp when you choose to message through it.

Your data is never sold or rented to anyone.

Cookies

The site uses analytics cookies through Google Analytics to measure general usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics. Disabling these cookies does not affect your ability to use the site.

Data retention

Information is kept only as long as it is needed: for the inquiry or the service it relates to, or for as long as the law requires. When it is no longer needed, it is deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to view the personal data held about you, to correct it, or to delete it. These rights are provided under Israel's Privacy Protection Law (Chok Haganat Haprivatiyut), and for visitors from the European Union, under the GDPR. To exercise any of them, send a message by email or WhatsApp.

Data security

Reasonable measures are taken to protect your information against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but the goal is always to keep your data safe.

International transfer

Because the site relies on Google, Cloudflare and Formspree, some data may be processed on servers located outside Israel, mainly in the United States and Europe. These providers operate under their own data protection commitments.

Children

The site is not directed to children under the age of 16, and it does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The current version, with its update date, always lives on this page.
