Mobile app for a trading signals service
Five numbers per card, on a phone, readable in a second.
2018.
An app for a service that distributes forex trading signals. The core screen is a feed of signals, and every signal is one card: currency pair, direction, entry point, take profit, stop loss.
The challenge was density. Five numbers per card, on a phone screen, where the person looking has to understand the status in a second. The answer was a color tag on the side of each card saying exactly that: live signal, hit target, closed successfully. The movement graph stays deliberately pale in the background, so the numbers remain the first thing you read.
Everything else stayed minimal. Sign up in two fields or through Facebook, and a full screen menu with three items. In an app whose entire value is the data in the feed, there is no reason for navigation to take attention.
The signal feed. Each card is one signal, and the color tag on its side marks its state.
A single card. Pair at the top, direction and status in the tag, and the three numbers that decide it: entry, take profit, stop loss.
Sign up. Two fields, or sign in with Facebook.
Full screen menu. Three items, no hierarchy it does not need.
The prototype is still hosted on Adobe XD. The screens above are stored here on the site, so this page keeps working the day Adobe shuts that service down.
