This is an experiment in being seen without showing.
I made this work with no client. No brief. No approval. No predefined outcome. After years of creating for brands from behind a screen, it was the first time I let myself waste time, fail, stop halfway and say I don't know.
I walked into the forest with three canvases, acrylic and water. I laid the canvases on the ground, and instead of standing in front of them I stepped into them. Instead of holding a brush, I turned my body into the brush. Clothes, hands, feet and hair changed color. The dance and the painting became one act.
Halfway through I reached a moment I loved, and faced a choice: stop with the good shot, or keep going. I kept going. I physically climbed onto what was already there, and my body added, or more precisely removed, a layer. It was not destruction. It was trust: things can always be repaired, and there is always more than one good outcome.
This is an invitation to look with a good eye at everything there is. The love, the freedom, the doubts, the dirt, the mistakes, the places that were and are no longer.
All of it happened through the Sodot HaPara (Wild Secrets) course with Liraz and Bar. I was looking for a place that would return me to work with nothing to prove, and I found a group of women, every one of them an artist. Thank you.

Three canvases on the forest floor.
The Triptych
Three acrylic-on-canvas panels, made at once in a single forest session. Each canvas carries paint, earth and body. Together they form one spiral. Available to acquire.
The triptych is made to hang in any orientation. Each canvas can hang vertically, horizontally or inverted, and the orientation can change with the season.

A work made for you
A new piece can be commissioned, made for the space and the person who will receive it. A commission starts as a conversation: what moves you, what size, and what energy should stay in the room. The rest is mine to make.
Technology as collaborator
This project was created by Merav Shaked. Every choice, every movement, every mark on the canvas: mine.
The subtitles in the film were written with Claude. The music was made with Suno AI: I brought the intention, the AI offered options, and I chose what stayed.
Technology here is a tool. The vision is human.

The compositions were made with an AI agent I built specifically for Artidansel. The agent had direct access to Suno, and iterated on the pieces in conversation with me, adjusting tempo, texture and atmosphere until each piece felt right for the work.
